Are you wondering how to introduce fruits and veggies to your furry friend? In this video, we’ll give you some tips on how to safely introduce new foods to your guinea pig’s diet.

Did you know that guinea pigs need about a cup of vegetables per day? But when it comes to fruits, you need to be extra careful since they’re high in sugar and guinea pigs can’t process sugar well.

We’ll teach you how to check the nutritional facts of the vegetables you want to feed your guinea pig and how to start with a very small amount when introducing a new fruit or veggie. We’ll also show you how to gradually increase the amount until you reach the full serving size.

Don’t forget to offer a variety of fruits and vegetables to get different vitamins and minerals from each food. And if your guinea pig doesn’t seem to like something at first, don’t give up! Keep offering small amounts in their piggy salads, and they may eventually start to like it.
