Mine won’t eat any pouches or tins I’ve tried every brand plus the natural ingredients the posher brands but won’t entertain them so today I cooked a roast chicken and put some in her bowl but nope she even turned her nose up on that a real chicken I’m trying tuna next but she normally doesn’t like fish but it’s worth a shot soo picky it’s insane I’m beside myself 😢 she loves her meal biscuits but always moaning for meat but only ever licks the gravy or jelly off any help much appreciated x
Thank you
How about making own meat based food for cats? I dont like all the canned and processed foods . Its not good for humans so sure its not good for animals etiher
Cats need wet and hard stuff to chew on.
If they don’t have something hard to chew on to simulate them chewing and crushing bone, their teeth sockets will loosen and their teeth will shift and possibly fall out with the slightest fall or running into a table/chair leg.
So they need at least to be given regular hard kibble and treats
I have been feeding a stray cat lately. He eats between 4 to 6 5.5oz cans per day. I do put out some dry food but he perfers the wet. He actually eats more food than our 3 indoor adult cats eat combined. Outdoor cats probably burn off way more calories than indoor cats do.
