  1. We very recently lost our senior cat of 18 years and we recently adopted a 13 year old little Siamese girl. She was seized in August in one city and was sick so they planned on putting euthanizing her. A different city rescued her and nursed her back to better health but she is still too skinny after she was with them for 2 months. She is blind but might be able to see the difference between light and dark but not sure yet. She only seems to hear a little bit, loud noise will make her perk up but she can not seem to tell the direction it came from. Not sure about her sense of smell either. She is so very sweet but I am struggling on the best ways to help her adapt and I want her to have play as well.

The shelter we adopted her from said she was can food motivated and even gave us a bunch of her favorite canned food. However she does not dive into like I saw at the shelter and in fact only eats part of it. I am wondering if the lack of food interest is just due to new environment or in a cage it was one of the few things that changed her day. I do plan on getting her onto a raw food diet and I need to get her weight up since I can feel her ribs too clearly.

  2. Partly thanks to your videos I adopted two eight year old cats. A bonded pair so they got accustomed to me and my place in basically an afternoon. Both crawl to my lap for pets and scratches every day. <3

  3. I’m adopting a 10 year old cat today and wanted to do a little research. Had absolutely no idea that it’s adopt a senior pet month, so it’s a really funny coincidence!
